qick vac

I had the chance to come up to MT and be with my siblings this week. Derek is still out on fires and will come back when I am home but saundi, matt, steph, beth, Aunti Vicci, duke, sue, belle, luna, lovie, flapjack and everest were here for me to have fun with.
Tonight we (all except bell and beth who were out with her dad) had chicken tacos tonight and it was great to be with my fam. Saundi did her usual "you should move to montana" speach 80) love ya saundi and steph actually went home early because she was tired. Aunti vicci hung out till about 11 and then left to head back home. It was a great night. 80)

This weekend

Steph came down for sat night and I got to meet daisy and see my good ol' duke. This is a pic of the crew when they got to my apartment and crashed.

so this weekend was a fun! I ate the best watermelon that I have had ALL summer!! and yes that is half a watermelon. I cut them in half and eat them with a melon baller. 80)

I love my family

While working this week I had the chance to observe what I feel was an unfortinate situation ( i will not go into the gritty details). There was a family who was "protecting" a patient by not telling him about a fatal situation he created.

I am glad that I had a wonderful strong family who has taught me to deal with all situations I create.

Hello

I am happy to be back in Ogden. I went back to work last night and it was wonderful. My apartment is very hot but my little air conditioner is doing its best to keep it cool. I have posted a lot of new pics on flicker 80) not much else to say. love ya'll

well things have been busy as always. Just this week I have had three tests covering 4 body systems but it keeps me busy. I went shopping today because macys was having a big one day sale. I got some crazy happy patterned shirts that are comfortable and Ben surprised me with a wonderful present of earrings.
I mentioned buying them for myself as a grad present - he pulled some 007 moves while I was in the store with him and got them without me knowing. He said he was gonna wait for my B-day however -like me- he doesn't like to wait. 80) so happy b-day to me.

It was amazing!

but I knew it was gonna be, from start to finish, just great. The pics are of my first piece of concert memb. and a pic of my ticket.
We were 10 rows from the stage, not more than 50 feet away, and dead center. ohhh I am tired cause i just got home. I really wish i had a little cam. so i could of taken pics inside but that is ok.

ITS ALMOST TIME FOR GWEN

thats right the day is coming, tom. Monday April 30, 2007 at 7.30pm I will be attending the Gwen Stefani, Akon, and Lady Sovereign concert with a girl from my work. We are gonna be on the floor center section 10 rows from the stage. 80)

I have not been to a full blown concert in a while and I am SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!

Girls Weekend

Well I am late in posting this, whats new 80).

Last weekend I had a great weekend hanging out with some of my great girlfriends. Friday I drove down to Provo (in bens car, not the tank) and picked up Sarah Andersen. We had a wonderful night of watching movies/veggietales, eating sushi and lots of other junk (I won't elaborate on the damage we did). I blew up the air mattress in my living room and we just lounged. It was wonderful.

Saturday I drove Sarah back to Provo and got to see her wedding dress. Then after a quick shower, change of clothes and some needed prompting from my wonderful boyfriend I drove back to West Vally City (next to provo) and spent a night going latin dancing with my great friend Yajaira and a new friend Janelle.



I didn't get any sleep! That was ok because I have been missing just having some good girlfriends to hang out with.

Happy Easter update

hello to the few of you who read me 80)
I just wanted to post an update as stuff has progressed here.

Last Monday I started classes for the nursing program I am enrolled in at Stevens Henager. I am doing a few pre-req that did not transfer before I start the actual classes. Right now I am in Sociology and English (both mind numbingly boring) but these little pre classes only last four weeks. WHOO HOOO

I have cut down my hours at work so I can focus on school and it is nice to be sleeping mostly at night now. 80)

Other than that I am just missing my family. I have figured I can only go about 3-4 months with out seeing them. 80) I love you guys!!!

Oh and for anyone who happens to read this that doesn't already know- my phone fried itself so I might not have your number anymore.

miles walked in my shoes

well at least tonight while i was at work 80) - i'll explain-

One night while working and running my medium sized tuckus off up and down the halls, i got curious and wondered just how many feet/miles we nurses averaged in a night. Well six months later i finally bought a pedometer during one of my late night shopping trips to wal-mart. (side note- wal-mart and smiths marketplace are the only two things open 24hrs in ogden, so needless to say i spend a lot of time shopping at 0200) anywaysssss. So tonight was the first night i wore my pedometer to work and it was not a very busy night for me. My totals were

Steps 8524
miles 4.25

granted this is over a 12 hr period, however studies show most adults need 10,000 steps for optimal weight and are only walking an average of 5-6000.
so every one STEP IT UP!!!! 80)
