Christmas?

Well hello again to the no one that reads my blog 80) I am at work tonight this Christmas Eve of 2006 and it has come in such a hurry and i know it will leave just as quickly. I have been back in Ogden almost one year now but I have been doing so much it seems like i have been here for 3 years at times.
I was very excited for the holidays! I got a wreath to hang on my door the day after thanksgiving in excitment for Christmas. Then some how throught the mess of finals at school, my full weekends at work, and the lack of my family, my usual spirit of Christmas was hard to find.
This week I have done some catching up on my christmas-ness, I broke down and bought a fake prelit tree that I put in the corner of my livingroom. Ogden finally got a little bit of snow on the ground and I caught some seasonal music on the radio and my patients at work are wishing me a Merry Christmas but i still have a lot of catching up to do. So to all of you I wish you a Very Merry Christmas, I send you lots of love and every one please be safe.

Long time no post.

Not that anyone bothers to read my boring blog, but i thought what the heck i'll update it anyway. Well right now i am just busy with school no big suprise there. Thank the big man upstairs that we are down to only one month from today. As we all know the holiday season is coming up, this will be my first holiday season with out family around at all. I am gonna be able to fly up and back to montant for thanksgiving and christmas but for the most part i will be work on the actuall day and then flying out after or before. 80) Speaking of school i have to run and go get some math homework finished. Whoooo Hooooo!!!

So I'm 23!

Well my b day came and passed quickly, it feel old when i say this, but the years just seem to keep speeding up. For my birthday i got four dozen roses (white, pink, purple and red) and the most awesome blog page done by my big sis steph! We went up to bens house for dinner and then picked out a sign from his aunts craft shop as a present from his parents. The siga reads "I know god dosen't give me anything I can't handle, I just wish he didn't trust me so much." 80) it is ture. We went to wal mart and bought a small cake which was covered in about a gallon of sugary frosting (YUK) for those of you who don't know, i am not a fan of frosting. 80) We then stopped at Chilis across the sreet because i was hungry. On saturday we were going to go down to the Hoggel Zoo but we ended up watching football and I had to take a test so we never made it. We then went to Ye Lions Den for dinner and i ate a pound of crab 80) it was wonderful.
Now it has just been the busy pace of school and all the weddings, bens little sis got married yesterday (sep 14th) and it was a nice little reception. Next on the chopping block is my big bro Derek and Beth Sep 22nd 80) Well I have to get to bed cause the parents are coming into slc internationl tom and i have to study my little butt off for next week that is full of tests. !!! love ya all

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!

so yeah i know i am crazy cause i am awake at 0413 and i just got done with some math homework, but i just wanted everyone(the whole 2 of you that read my blog) that it is my birthday. hopefully later i will have pics of a real cake or something in the dessert family that is really mine to post 80) yeah i am 23 80) now i get to celebrate by doing more math homework, studying for my first pathophysiology test this weekend and finish my art project. Ben my wonderful boyfriend had planed something i am sure so i am excited for that. Well love ya'll!! and a vary happy unbirthday to ya'll.

Fast Flying Snot!

Well ood title i know but there is an explination. Durring the month of August I have had extreamly bad allergies. To the point where I have to take meds around the clock and prop my self up at night to breath. Anyhow a fellow nurse Sarah had a previous co worker who irrigated her husbands sinuses, this entails taking a rather large syrnge filling it with normal saline and shooting it up a nostril to flush out the sinuses and thus clear out the congestion. It was almost four A.M. and we were prob not functioning with all brain cells so we decided what the heck lets try this and see if it works(we were at the hospital working, just in case something went wrong the E.R. was close). We proceded to cover me in a towel to protect from any potential splatter, Sarah then proceded with a few attempts at a low velocity with not much reslut other than me swallowing a lot of saline. The third time was the charm in this case, sarah pulled out the stops and let her rip sending saline through my nasal sinuses and shooting out the other side. In between Sarah turning red from laughing and me recouperating from the niagra falls we had created I was able to breath for a short while out of both sides of my nose. 80)

My virgin blog post/page!!

Hello wonderful world of blogs! I am sitting here wtih my wonderful sister who aptly named my blog 80) because i would of named my blog something like "this is my blog" 80) I would like to just let everyone know right now i am absoultly horrid at spelling and grammar so if you are an english professor or apalled by someone who has made it through all college english credits and still is has total disregard for the english language you should prob move on to a different blog.
Well my life in a nutshell, I was born in Pocatello Idaho (my family lived in a small town named Challis). We then moved around I have lived in ; Adin, California (small town in northeast corner) Valencia,California(next to Six Flags Magic Mountain) Missoula, Montana Pleasantview, Utah Falls Church, Virginia and now I am back in Ogden, Utah. I am a nurse (LPN) and working fulltime and attending Weber State University fulltime so life is a little crazy. I have a wonderful family that is peppered about the country, i love to travel them and stay in close touch wtih family and all my friends.
My thoughts are prob not coherent 'cause i am sitting here wtih my mom and oldest sister watching Madeas Family Reunion, mostly because my sister (stepahnie) was having an "i hate the world day" . Yeah so my family consists of my wonderful parents who live in Virginia, my oldest sister Stephanie also in Virginia, my second oldest sister who is married and lives in missioula Saundra and Matt, my brother who is about to be married also lives in montana Derek and soon to be Bethany. I have a grandma in Davis, Ca and another in Mesa, Az.
Things i love, other than my family and friends. I love the outdoors!! I love the sunshine most of all!! I want to go to Norway for the simple fact that it is the country that recieves the most sunlight. 80) If i don't have sunshine i get all lazy and blahhhh. I love all sorts of things; snowborarding, scubadiving(i need to brush up), singing and many more. Um yeah my brain is drained and i don't think i have anything else to say right now. 80) So yeah that is me!!
